The cleaning programme in connection
with Swach Bharath Campaign was held at GFHSS Bekal on 30.10.2014.The
Headmaster Sri.Jayaprakash.K inaugurated the cleaning programme.
The
staff secretary sri.P.Sankaran Namboodiri master spoke on the danger
of wastes dumped around us.The NCC Officer K.V.Hareendran. spoke how
the waste could be managed properly at the school,home and the
surrounding.The NCC Cadets ,the staff and the students took a pledge
that they would manage the waste properly and thus try to make a
waste free country. Thereafter all the students,the NCC cadets and
the staff cleaned the school premises under the leadership of the
Headmaster. They buried the bio-waste and collected the plastic waste
for recycle process. It has been decided to make the parents and the
local people aware of the need of the waste management to save
ourselves and other fellow beings from the fatal illness.
